Brad is a co-founder of One Environments and passionate urbanist.
With a BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Landscape Architecture from Newcastle University, Brad’s educational achievements underpin his three decades of experience. As a Director of the business, Brad’s work portfolio spans large public and private sector construction programmes across an array of sectors. He has led many award-winning urban regeneration schemes, housing, leisure and golf course designs; plus has countless commercial developments and residential estates and gardens under his landscape architecture utility belt.
Brad’s considerable experience in the management and implementation of complex projects shows through his practical approach with a keen eye for the necessary technicalities that will ensure a project works, satisfying internal and external objectives.
Over recent years, Brad has overseen numerous residential and leisure projects, including housing projects, care homes and the design of housing estates. Relishing the challenge of tailoring the landscape to suit different types of speciality, Brad’s collaborative approach ensures end users’ needs are at the forefront of design and development.
Brad seizes every opportunity to make a difference; his focus on well-designed, functional and affordable proposals, with aftercare fully considered from the outset, brings immense benefits to our clients and the communities we work with. His expert knowledge of the buildability and full life cycle of materials in terms of design, build and management inspires confidence and offers clients longer term sustainability.
When he’s not keeping an eye on the commercial landscape to ensure developments are current and move with the times, Brad enjoys sport particularly skiing. And besides frequenting the Austrian slopes, you might spot our avid magpie cheering on the lads at St James’ Park.
