Senior Landscape Architect
Kevin has an eye for imaginative design solutions that are pragmatic and popular combined with an inclusive design approach, drawing out ideas and experiences from clients, peers, contractors and colleagues.
He joined the practice in 2022 following a long and distinguished career, most recently at Sunderland City Council where he was head of the landscape design team, delivering schemes ranging in size from the smallest nursery school garden to the 100-hectare Herrington Country Park. Kevin was responsible for several key regeneration projects within the city including the restoration of Mowbray Park, the regeneration of Roker and Seaburn seafronts and the public realm works centered on Keel Square.
Kevin is a passionate advocate for the North East has played an active role in local Landscape Institute branch. A keen wildlife enthusiast he supports the Institute’s promotion of the profession as being for People, Place and Nature. Outside of work he is creative in all he does, whether it’s producing glass art, working on his allotment or leading the pub quiz team.
